Police: No trends in South Weber crime report

SOUTH WEBER -- Davis County Sheriff John Olson recently reported to the city council about criminal activity in the area.

During the first quarter of this year, there were 286 citations in the city. During the second quarter there were only 188 citations.

Olson also reported 143 dispatch calls in the first quarter, with an increase to 160 calls second quarter.

There were no disturbing trends, Olsen reported; although, burglaries were slightly up.

A man, who lived on Cherry Farms, was one of several residents in the area that reported stolen solar lights.
